Gylve Nagell, a.k.a. Fenriz is the guy behind one of the grimmest band Darkthrone. He is trully a consummate record collector and played as a DJ in a variety of genres and introduced Darkthrone fans to obscurities by Siouxsie & the Banshees and early NYC punks the Testors through covers—the latter’s “Bad Attitude” appears on the new ’Throne EP N.W.O.B.H.M. (the “B” is for “Black”).
“The last few years, I’ve had some people helping me with crust and obscure NWOBHM and ’70s music”, Fenriz says.
Not coincidentally, Darkthrone’s recent discs have been heavily influenced by the crust punk scene, and the forthcoming F.O.A.D. promises classic heavy metal in the vein of a dozen obscure ’70s and ’80s bands.

My bloody valentine will return to play in Summer 2008 across the UK. They are heading back to the daily grind with plans to finish recording unreleased material originally meant for their 1990’s Glider EP.
In an interview with Vice’s vbs.tv program “Soft Focus,” Front man Kevin Shields said: “it sounds like what we sounded like – different but not radically different. People will go, “Yeah, it sounds like My Bloody Valentine.”The new tracks will be released as part of a box set later this year.

On October 16th Mr. Tellier, the man behind "La ritournelle" (one of the most awe-inspiring tracks of last year ever) released his brand new single in the form of “Sexual Sportswear”, an 8-minute epoch that swaps the orchestral in favor of the electronic and sports production from Daft Punk's very own Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. The French house legend is manning the boards on Tellier’s entire upcoming LP, titled Sexuality and out January 2008, and “Sexual Sportswear” is a delicious first taste”.

We think LuLa is one of our new favorite magazines. The ex vogue stylist, Leith Clark, is the editor and chief of Lula, and she did the stylist almost all the magazine.
The cover was so alluring, we don't think we've ever read a magazine so dreamy before. All photographs are so inspiring to look at, and the articles are worth to read as well, a lot of interesting people, and very few advertising.
Since the magazine is really hard to find, here we post some of the pics from Lula issue one to four.
All the images of Lula below, scanned by Sussie Bubble.
