Alexander Wang Spring 09

Photobucket

Here's a preview from Alexander Wang S/S 09 collection. "Anyone can get all dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their off days, that are the most intriguing." Like the collection itself, the girls he dressed stand out, but not in the obvious ways...more like the black sheep in a crowd-inspiring, surprising and slightly mysterious. Enjoy his entire Spring 09 collection here.

We Came to Wreck Everything – God Sent Us!

Photobucket

Here's the first preview of the CTRL Spring 09, the Skinfoot T-Shirt with a print from a picture of a well worn classic DR Martens boot shot by famous British photographer Gavin Watson. Totally classic!!! More CTRL Spring 09 releases coming soon…

Photobucket

Gavin Watson was born in Wycombe middle England. He got his first camera at the age 14 instead of a pair of binoculars. From there on he was busy shooting his friends, family and all the action in the small town of Wycombe. This happened back in the 70’s and 80’s, around the time Thatcher was holding shit together with her iron clutch. What came out of these images would become one of the important and influential photographic youth culture books of the last 20 years. The ‘Skins & Punks’ book was published in 1994 and it instantly became a classic. The Times from London referred to the book as a ‘modern classic’ and numerous great photographers such as Terry Richardson and Jurgen Teller have been truly influenced and inspired by the images in this book. The book was recently re-published by VICE Books and it followed up with the most recently published (2008) book called ‘Skins & Punks – The lost archives’ that’s also published by VICE Books.

Obscure

Photobucket

Richard Söderberg is a talented young designer from Sweden whose label is called Obscure. He designs finely crafted pieces using a simple dark color palette and tons of creativity. Influenced by Ann Demeulemeester, Number 9, Rick Owens and so, but still keep his individual spirit. The Swedish designer uses thin and light materials to allow his all most exclusively black to retain summertime wearability. Obscure holds less morbid connotations yet retains an undeniably dark aesthetic. See the entire collection here.

Riot Tuxedo

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Riot Tuxedo was born in an attic/studio in Chicago Fall/07 by Brian "Riot" Anderson while doodling and listening to old metal and punk records. It started out with Brians vision to create a new and original, yet DIY-back to basics, art/clothing/design label that stood out. Riot Tuxedo prints on the finest buttery soft organic cotton tees and eco-friendly fabrics. This is totally our cup of tea. Completely Slay!!! See their complete collection here.
