Anti Sweden Jeans on Swedish Television

The Swedish TV show Kobra was investigating what it is that now makes the Norwegian people look at Sweden as their little brother, when for centuries it used to be the other way around. What could be the reason for this shift? The Swedes at Kobra obviously made the trip to the Norwegian jeans brand Anti Sweden's office in Oslo in order to get to the bottom of the Swedish-hate phenomenon.

There they soon discovered that the black in the jeans have nothing to do with all the Norwegian oil. On the contrary, the color is linked to Norway's biggest cultural export, Black Metal music. And it is there that Anti Sweden finds their inspiration. The Swedish show host felt both sad and scared to know that there was so much hate towards Swedes within their Norwegian neighbors.

Until the Light Takes Us

In 1991, Norwegian churches started to burn down, just after an underground circle of metal musicians had formed. The film, "Until the Light Takes Us" reveals the true story behind the music, murders, and church burnings, and shows what happened to these young men, who tried to change the world using music, art, and violence. Ultimately, they lost control of what they had created. The highly anticipated documentary about Norwegian black metal by Aaron Aites and Audrey Ewell opens this December, in New York City and in select cities in the coming weeks.
