Crack The Skye
Mastodon have finally emerged from the studio and unveiled details for their fourth album, "Crack The Skye", which will be released early this year. Mastodon will be releasing ‘Divinations’ as the first single from their new album, ‘Crack the Skye’, and this will be made available on January 27th. The album is a dark conglomeration of musical as well as conceptual layers. Read here about the concept of this album. This album is certainly highly anticipated for us. Can't wait!

Malevolent Grain
Brand new vinyl only EP release from the grimm Cascadia black metal horde: Wolves In The Throne Room. 2 brand new songs (1 per side) that further solidify their death like grip on the jewel throne of American Black Metal. As with their mind blowing debut: "Diadem of 12 Stars", Jamie Meyers (Hammers of Misfortune) lends her beautiful voice to the track on Side A "A Looming Resonance".
The "Malevolent Grain" EP is the first to feature their new guitar player Will Lindsay (formerly of Middian) who had been the band’s touring bass player. The sound of this new recording blazes down similar paths as their past albums but seems to have even more depth and darkness than before. Wolves in the Throne Room have recently finished recording their 3rd studio album: "Black Cascade" which will be released by Southern Lord in the spring of 2009.

T by Alexander Wang
T by Alexander Wang collection consisting of cotton basics in 12 styles. He launched an online lookbook of the collection ranging from tanks ($28 wholesale) to T-shirt dresses ($40) — all cut in the designer’s signature languid style. Cotton basics and simple colors. Totally love it!
“Necklines are stretched and armholes are strategically lowered so that it looks worn in. It’s like sleeping in a T-shirt and then wearing it the next day. It’s not this crisp little T out of the dryer. It’s draped and kind of wilted.” - Alexander Wang
