Pipetree Leather Goods

Alexandra Lauro, Brooklyn native and creator of Pipertree Leather Goods, interweaves fragments of Earth and stone with lanyard and leather to create stalactite adornments both of nature and in nature. Pursuant to artisan tradition, each piece is purposefully conceived and meticulously composed. Her creations are inspired by everything from the rolling plains to the sandy stretches of the Sahara , the marigold shrines of el Dia de los Muertos to the mysticism of Santeria. She believes good luck occurs not by chance, but by design. See the entire collection here.

Riot Tuxedo: "Crazy From The Heat"

Riot Tuxedo proudly announces their Summer ‘10 collection, ‘Crazy From The Heat’, their sickest collection to date. Amidst a gamut of personal influences, the graphics on each of the 13 tees celebrate the spirits of classic punk, metal, and grunge. A stark contrast to the bright streetwear type graphic tees, Riot Tuxedo’s ‘Crazy From the Heat’ brings a modern yet vintage style that salutes the warped warriors of modern society. Several tees are hand-dyed variations of black, gray, or white and are lightly distressed and printed by hand on buttery-soft organic cotton. RT’s hand-crafted/hand-stitched ‘Patchwork Hoodie’ and ‘Patched Bag’ are other snarling yet oh so useful additions to their summer line. For the summer lookbook, Riot Tuxedo teamed up with London based photographer, Moni Haworth, whose gritty environments, yet crisp photographs, capture RT’s compelling and distinctive style. A perfect Molotov Cocktail for a fashion riot! Go get the entire collection here!

House of Jealouxy

On the contrary to the name, House of Jealouxy is made out of love. A love to be shared among others throughout this jewelry line. It believes that high-end jewelry should not be limited to precious materials and embellishments. House of Jealouxy have scoured the earth to find materials to make you feel pretty and (in)sane. Yet it is still cheaper than going to psychiatrist or plastic surgery. All of the pieces are proudly handcrafted either one of a kind or limited edition and House of Jealouxy is open to any special request as long as those 10 fingers are able. See the entire collection here.

Lord of the Logos

Fans of underground black metal music call Christophe Szpajdel the Lord of the Logos. Through his use of unusual aesthetic influences, Szpajdel has brought a new dynamic into the gothic visuality of heavy metal. He has not only succeeded in leaving his own visual mark on this music, but has expanded the canon of forms it uses. The book is done in the style of a black prayerbook, an appropriate choice for an artist whose fans in the black metal community worship him as the Lord of the Logos.
