S.C.U.M. are a five piece band from London and they're the most exciting new band we've ever heard this year. They're born from boredom with thumping drums, growling synths and overdriven guitar, and that makes their sounds quite uncomfortable for some people. They're sort of no wave - definitely ones to watch. Although S.C.U.M are clearly referential to the past, there is a modernity in their attitudes. They're definitely have something whatever it is.
