Siouxsie solo album

After a formidable career as the voice and face of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Siouxsie released a solo effort, MantaRay, this October .

Mantaray is an album filled with singles that should be instant hits, such as Into A Swan, which preceded the album, Here Comes That Day and album closer Heaven & Alchemy. They're full, rich and dark like chocolate rather than the shadows. Lying

Lying is a forthcoming American indie film starring Chloe Sevigny and Jena Malone, as well as Meryl Streep's son, Henry Gummer. It was directed by short-film director M.Blash. It played at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

You might know Jena from her other career acting in film and TV, but she has now embarked on a different artistic endeavor. Jena Malone and Her Bloodstains first release is rooted in dark, experimental folk. Her voice moves from a pixie-ish whisper to a mysterious warble, while her melodies obstusely follow tangential paths away from the music.

'I was so bored with my job as an actor that i needed something', explains the 22-year old, Jena Malone.

While the physical awkwardness is meant to exaggerate the emotional instabillity at that age, the capsized scale at the same time reveals that the girls who have a handle on their

surroundings are, actually, only dreaming.

Joe Strummer x Lewis Leathers x Hysteric Glamour Lightning Jacket

In the late 70s, British leather company Lewis Leathers become an iconic piece among the rock groups. People such as Sid Vicious as well as Paul Simonon and Joe Strummer of The Clash institutionalized the unofficial uniform of rock with their leather jackets. The Lightning was the model of choice for Strummer and as a result Lewis Leathers has teamed up with Japanese rock influenced label Hysteric Glamour to recreate the jacket. Available now at Zozotown's Hysteric Glamour. Priced at ¥155,400 (approximately $1,333 USD).

Fred Perry + The Dead 60s

After an incendiary live gig in the Fred Perry Newburgh street shop in September 2005, Matt, lead singer of The Dead 60's, asked if the brand had ever produced a tartan reversed Harrington. The Harrington was routinely worn reverse side out in the Punk area.

And so the project began, with Matt and the band involved in every last detail of the final garments. Fred Perry will be releasing 500 of the Red Stuart Tartan and Monochrome Cornish Tartan Harrington worldwide at 115 pound each. Individually numbered and replete with The Dead 60's back neck label they will be instant collectors items.
