Baroness have transformed themselves from an excellently sludgy sub-Isis/sub-Mastodon hybrid into their own. Baroness mainman John Baizley,is making the transition from primarily yelled/roared vocals into a considerably more melodic-yet-authoritative singing voice. For real, this full-length debut album is just That Fucking Good. Red will become the new black.
