The designers of New Zealand based label 'Nyne' say their actual inspiration was the film Transformers. Hence the semi-metallic fabrics, wet-look polyester, rivets on dresses, militaristic mesh, interestingly shaped hoodies and the acid-wash grey, which was meant to be, they say, “like urban camouflage".
